Process Engineer

Job Overview

Duties

• Manage and support new product launches and continuous improvement projects.

• Monitor and analyze key process metrics such as cycle time, scrap rates, and efficiency.

• Conduct root cause analysis and use tools like flowcharts and fishbone diagrams for troubleshooting.

• Plan and implement R&D proposals, including cost, scope, and resource planning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality control and product development initiatives.

• Interpret part drawings and utilize statistical quality control procedures.

• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry for process evaluations and performance tracking.

• Ensure safety compliance and environmental regulation adherence during all plant operations.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems and continuous improvement practices.

• Proficiency in CNC programming, PLC terminology, and AutoCAD.

• Familiarity with FMEA, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and tolerance measurements.

• Ability to facilitate meetings, lead small teams, and conduct technical training.

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills for data analysis and reporting.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
