Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Full-Time (Nights, Rotating Weekends)
Location: Sanford, FL

Pay Range: $28 - $40hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Sanford, Florida. The RRT will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care while working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team. This role is ideal for professionals eager to advance their clinical expertise in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressures.

  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures to evaluate and treat patients.

  • Administer therapies such as oxygen delivery, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy.

  • Assist with artificial airway placement and manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.

  • Monitor patient responses to therapy, document progress, and notify providers of significant changes.

  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation.

  • Safely transport ventilator-dependent patients as needed.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: NBRC and State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

  • Education: Completion of a two-year AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate Degree or equivalent).

  • Experience:

    • Flexible new graduates accepted (must have passed boards or be awaiting official RRT license).

    • CRT-only experience does not qualify.

  • Certifications:

    • BLS within 30 days of hire.

    • ACLS within 6 months of hire.

    • PALS within 6 months of hire.

    • NRP within 6 months of hire.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $28 - $40 hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
