About the job DevOps Engineer
Role Overview
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role focuses on automating workflows, managing cloud environments, and enabling continuous integration and delivery to support fast and stable software releases.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps
Containerize applications with Docker and Podman
Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell
Collaborate with development teams to streamline code integration into CI/CD pipelines
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize pipeline performance
Implement security scanning and ensure compliance with security standards
Maintain documentation for pipeline architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
Proficiency in MS Office or equivalent tools
Cloud certifications (e.g., Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure) preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a willingness to learn and grow
Experience leading development using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Expertise in integrated enterprise systems, data flows, and business processes
Experience with formal software development methodologies
Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team with strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Certifications in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Podman
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates)
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
Knowledge of security best practices, vulnerability scanning, and compliance standards
Experience with scripting/automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
Prior experience working with enterprise-scale systems and distributed architectures
