Role Overview
We are seeking an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations. This role ensures smooth HR operations and contributes to a positive employee experience and organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Training
Develop and maintain training plans and records within HR systems
Track completion and retention of required training to ensure compliance
Employment
Plan and conduct new employee orientations
Maintain knowledge of HR legal requirements and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Partner with department managers to maintain organizational charts
Ensure required employee postings are current and compliant with regulations
Performance Management
Serve as the main point of contact for performance management processes and tools
Coordinate performance review cycles, including notifications, tracking, and compliance
Payroll
Coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
Support employees with payroll-related inquiries and communications
Safety & Workers' Compensation
Support workplace safety programs and compliance initiatives
Maintain records for safety incidents, workers' compensation claims, and regulatory reporting
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate across teams
Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Solid understanding of HR best practices, policies, and employment laws
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work across all levels
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration
Experience leading projects and improving HR processes
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and high-performance workplace
Preferred Qualifications
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
Experience with HRIS systems
Prior experience as an HR Generalist
Knowledge of change management principles
Experience coaching managers and business leaders
Experience with organizational design and role definition
Strong financial and business acumen
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills
