About the job Senior Project Manager (Commercial / Healthcare / Data Center / Industrial)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale projects across commercial construction, healthcare facilities, data centers, and industrial environments. This role is responsible for end-to-end project delivery—from planning and budgeting to execution, risk management, and final handover—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, deep project lifecycle experience, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across engineering, construction, operations, and executive teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution
- Lead full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria with stakeholders
- Coordinate design, engineering, procurement, and construction activities
- Ensure alignment between project execution and business objectives
Budgeting & Cost Management
- Develop and manage project budgets and financial forecasts
- Track costs, variances, and ensure adherence to approved budgets
- Approve expenditures and manage vendor/invoice processing
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as primary point of contact for clients, executives, and contractors
- Manage relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers
- Conduct regular project meetings and status updates with stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts, timelines, and deliverables with vendors
Schedule & Risk Management
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (critical path analysis)
- Monitor project progress and adjust timelines as needed
- Identify risks, delays, and bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
Industry-Specific Oversight (Depending on Sector)
- Healthcare: compliance with HIPAA, infection control, hospital regulations, patient safety requirements
- Data Centers: uptime requirements, redundancy systems, power/cooling infrastructure coordination
- Commercial: tenant build-outs, occupancy readiness, zoning compliance
- Industrial: heavy infrastructure, manufacturing systems, OSHA compliance
Reporting & Documentation
- Provide executive-level project updates, dashboards, and reports
- Maintain project documentation, contracts, RFIs, change orders, and approvals
- Ensure transparency in project progress, risks, and financial status
- Lead project closeout, punch list resolution, and final delivery documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of project management experience (large-scale or multi-site projects preferred)
- Proven experience managing commercial, healthcare, data center, or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile hybrid, PMI standards)
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar)
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Strong knowledge of construction or infrastructure project lifecycle
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- LEED accreditation (for sustainable/commercial construction projects)
- Experience in mission-critical environments (data centers or hospitals)
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) systems
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar or enterprise-scale projects
- Background in regulated industries (healthcare, government, energy)

- Program Manager / Director of Projects / VP of Operations / Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Employment Type & Work Setup:
- Full-time
