Sales Manager
About the job Sales Manager
Responsible for building and managing the inhouse and agency force, setting up the inhouse and agency structure, and ensuring the sales targets are consistently met. This role involves sales leadership, team development, performance monitoring, and the implementation of sales strategies to drive business growth. The Sales Manager will play a key role in establishing the agency, motivating the sales team, and achieving the company's revenue objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spearheads activities that could ramp up inflow of investments including but not limited to road shows, boothing, participation in marketing-initiated activities, and other activities that would require the sales department
- Provides coaching, training, and motivation to sales agents to improve performance
- Establishes and maintains strong client and partner relationships
- Conducts regular joint field work with his/her account officers
- Builds, develops, and manages the agency force and sales team
- Conducts sales planning, forecasting, and strategy execution
- Monitors and evaluates sales team productivity and implements corrective actions as needed
- Ensure proper implementation of sales processes, policies, and compliance requirements
- Prepares and reviews sales reports for management
- Leads the achievement of sales targets and revenue objectives
- Recruits, trains and develops his/her account officers
- Identifies new business opportunities and potential markets to expand company presence
- Creates business development strategies to strengthen partnerships and client acquisition
- Collaborates with marketing and other departments for lead generation and brand visibility
- Represents the company in events, presentations, and networking activities
- Works closely with senior management in setting targets, policies, and long-term strategies
- Supports cross-functional projects that enhance sales operations and client servicing
- Ensures compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Performs other related duties that may be assigned to support overall business objectives
- Takes and passes the required licenses to conduct business
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate account management, business development in fund management, bancassurance, asset management, or banking
- UITF certification exam, CISOL licensure exam (Employer can assist in obtaining these)

- Adept at creating and delivering sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure business deals
