We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lymphoedema Nurse or Physiotherapist to join our team in Henley on Thames. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with lymphoedema and related conditions, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with lymphoedema and related conditions
  • Implement and evaluate treatment interventions, including manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, exercise prescription, and skin care education
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal results
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on lymphoedema management and self-care techniques
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain current knowledge of best practices in lymphoedema management
  • Adhere to all relevant professional standards, guidelines, and regulations

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing or Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body (NMC or HCPC)
  • Certification in lymphoedema management from a recognized training program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with lymphoedema patients in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Additional training or certification in related fields, such as wound care, oncology, or palliative care
  • Knowledge of the local healthcare system and resources available to lymphoedema patients
