They are developing a web application built on a Symfony foundation and delivered as a Progressive Web App (PWA). The product focuses on performance, reliability, and modern frontend architecture. To meet delivery objectives within a defined timeframe, they are reinforcing their development team with senior frontend expertise. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the Angular layer meets quality, performance, and delivery standards.
Role Purpose & Success Outcomes
Purpose:
Own and deliver the Angular frontend of a Symfony-based PWA during a fixed delivery window, ensuring performance, reliability, and alignment with backend integration.
Success outcomes:
The Angular frontend is delivered and stabilized in line with the agreed functional and technical benchmarks
PWA features meet performance, responsiveness, and offline-capability expectations
Frontend integrates cleanly with the Symfony backend (Symfony 7.4)
Code quality, maintainability, and documentation meet team standards
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Angular frontend (Angular 19) for a Symfony-based PWA
Implement and optimize PWA features, including performance and offline behavior
Collaborate closely with backend developers to ensure smooth frontend–backend integration
Apply best practices for Angular architecture, state management, and component design
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend issues impacting stability or delivery
Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions within the development team
Ensure deliverables align with the agreed technical scope and timelines for the mission
Candidate Profile
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (nice-to-have)
Professional Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Angular at a senior level (must-have)
Proven experience delivering complex frontend applications in production environments
Hands-on experience working on Progressive Web Applications (nice-to-have)
Experience collaborating with backend frameworks such as Symfony (required familiarity; deep Symfony expertise is a nice-to-have)
Technical Skills
Expert-level proficiency in Angular 19 (must-have)
Working knowledge of Symfony 7.4 and frontend–backend integration patterns (nice-to-have)
Strong experience designing and delivering PWAs (nice-to-have)
Solid understanding of performance optimization, responsive design, and modern frontend tooling
Working Style & Culture
Comfortable operating autonomously as a senior individual contributor
Delivery-focused and able to perform in a short-term, high-impact mission
Clear and professional communicator in English
