Counselor Connect is a 2-sided online mental health marketplace that’s putting the control back in the hands of therapists and clients by providing a space where care is affordable, convenient, and agency driven; AND we're looking for experienced Mental Health Therapists to join our team.

In this role, therapists will work directly with clients to facilitate the change process by helping them learn and implement both healthy and effective ways of coping through online counseling. This role requires someone who can work independently, and has a passion for assisting those in need with meeting their goals and becoming the best version of themselves. This individual must also be ready to walk away from burnout, and into professional freedom.

Counselor Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular online counseling appointments with clients in need of non-crisis related therapeutic intervention
  • Establish positive and trusting therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Implement various treatments and protocols, appropriately addressing client needs
  • Continually assess client needs and provide the appropriate ongoing treatments
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each and every client
  • Maintain all required licenses and the appropriate professional insurance

Counselor Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field
  • Must be provisionally (must have active Clinical Supervisor) or fully licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, Professional Counselor or Psychologist.
  • 1+ year(s) of clinical experience preferred, ideally working directly with clients
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen
  • Solid relationship-building capabilities
  • A positive and compassionate attitude
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize needs
  • Willingness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field
  • Passion for advancing the therapy field
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
