What You'll Do (Based on Your Level)

SENIOR ACCOUNTANTS

Even at the senior level, this is a hands-on role. If youre supporting a dedicated client, youll likely be doing both strategic and operational workbecause getting the numbers right matters more than just delegating.

• Take full ownership of multiple AU client files

• Perform month-end close, BAS prep, and compliance checks

• Build financial reports, cash flow forecasts, KPI dashboards

• Advise clients on tax, strategy, or process improvements

• Handle payroll, terminations, and Fair Work compliance

• Process and review transactions to maintain accuracy and integrity

INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANTS

This role blends technical ability with daily execution. Youll support seniors, own parts of the process, and often manage end-to-end tasks for specific files.

• Handle AP/AR, daily bank reconciliations, monthly close support

• Prepare BAS drafts and reconciliations

• Assist with billing, invoice markup, and client communication

• Chase receipts, match documentation, manage Xero files

• Process transactions and journals independently

Tools & Platforms We Use

• Xero (multiple client files)

• Dext, Fathom, Deputy

• Managing Accounts Inbox 

• Excel: XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query (desirable)

• Bonus: Your past experience and ability make reccomendations

What Were Looking For

• 3-6+ years AU accounting experience (minimum 2 years in Xero)

• Mastery of BAS, GST, PAYG, and AU accounting standards

• Strong Excel and reporting chops

• Payroll experience (ideal but not required)

• Clean, consistent reconciliation habits

• Cybersecurity awareness is mandatory: 2FA, secure drives, phishing literacy, etc.

Please Advise If You:

• Are Xero certified (by Xero) or CPA-qualified

• Have worked in BPO or directly with AU firms

• Know how to speak directly with clients (without scripts)

• Want to grow into a team lead or controller role

Work Setup

• Remote (100% work-from-home) with dedicated and noise free workstation

• Full-time, stable long-term role

• Working Australian Client Time

• Candidates must have backup internet, generator, headset noise cancelling and other items ready for work

Compensation

We hire based on skill and (the right) attitude. In your application, indicate your expected monthly gross salary in PHP, based on:

• Years of Australian accounting experience

• Tools you can operate with autonomy

• Speed + accuracy on reconciliation + client delivery and past performance
