The Role of Area Sales Manager

This is a field / home based role. As Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing relationships with existing accounts. Customers include Plumbing & Heating Merchants, Builders Merchants and Electrical Wholesalers. You will manage relationships at branch level, stimulate demand with contractors and then influence them to purchase their products via the merchant.

This field based role is 100% account management and you will be tasked with building / developing relationships, demonstrating new and existing products to customers and identifying growth opportunities.

The Candidate:

  • 12 months field based sales or merchandiser experience
  • A natural relationship builder with a career minded approach
  • Strong planning / territory route planning skills
  • Ability to demonstrate products to customers
