The Company

Our client are a major brand within the construction industry and have been established for nearly 100 years with a global turnover in excess of £85m. Unlike some of their competitors, they are investing and have aggressive growth plans as they look to capitalise and make an increase on their already impressive market share. They are looking for a talented Area Sales Manager to cover the South East as they look to increase head count. Our client are looking for a strong Area Sales Manager to continue bring their leading range of flooring related products to the market via A&D specifiers, Main Contractors and installation sub-contractors.

The Role of Area Sales Manager

This is a field / home based role covering the South home counties and south of the river. As Area Sales Manager you will manage existing business and well as being tasked with identifying new commercial projects within the region. Selling a leading range of branded flooring products and flooring related products you will are A&D Architects, Main Contractors and Sub-Contractors / installers developing an area that is performing well vs budget.

The Candidate

• Specification sales experience with architects and /or main contractors is advantageous
• We are particularly interested in talking to Area Sales Managers, Territory Sales Managers, Account Managers, that have sold construction chemicals, flooring, plasterboard, partitioning, partitions, screeds, tiling, street landscaping or similar products.

The Package

• £45,000 - £48,000
• uncapped OTE 30%
• Plug-in hybrid company car
• 25 days holiday with option to (buy or sell)
