Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data from various digital platforms
  • Develop statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics to support detection of illegal or suspicious online activity
  • Translate complex datasets into visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate trends and findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Work closely with engineers, analysts, and domain experts to refine detection models and intelligence pipelines
  • Support the development of data-driven products and solutions that enhance Yield Secs monitoring and enforcement capabilities
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies, data privacy regulations, and trends in data science, AI, and digital regulation

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Data Scientist or similar analytical role

  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages

  • Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data manipulation tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)

  • Familiarity with SQL, cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, AWS), and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly)

  • Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling

  • Ability to work with diverse datasets, including text, web, and behavioral data

  • Background in online safety, fraud detection, cyber intelligence, or digital marketplaces is a strong plus

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
