Position Summary
The Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for advising and guiding clients throughout the entire mortgage loan process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience. This role requires a high level of self-management, sales skills, and a results-driven approach, working under a 100% commission model with competitive compensation.
Candidate Requirements
- Active NMLS license in the state of Florida and SAFE test approval (mandatory).
- Previous experience in sales or as a Loan Officer, with a proven track record of loan production.
- Willingness to work under a 100% commission structure, with competitive and attractive income potential.
- Ability to self-manage a pipeline and business development activities.
- Proficiency in digital tools and mortgage origination platforms.
- A strong existing network of contacts is a plus, facilitating faster integration and success.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly valued, though not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Manage the origination and processing of mortgage loan applications from pre-approval to closing.
- Advise clients on mortgage products and available financing options.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, expanding your network through proactive outreach and networking.
- Use the provided technology platforms and tools to streamline processes and ensure efficient follow-up.
- Participate in ongoing training offered by the employer for continuous professional development.
- Optionally engage in community activities to strengthen your network and personal brand.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales or as a Loan Officer, with a demonstrable history of loan production.
- Excellent communication skills, client relations, and sales-driven mindset.
- Strong self-management, discipline, and goal orientation under a 100% commission model.
- Basic knowledge of digital tools and loan origination processes.
- Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) is a plus.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
