Role Overview:

As a Vice President in Creador + team, you will play a pivotal role in driving significant operational and strategic improvements across portfolio companies, ultimately maximizing investment returns for the firm. This highly analytical and action-oriented leader will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing value creation initiatives from due diligence through exit. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of industries and business functions, while contributing to the long-term success of our investments.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Investment & Financial Acumen:

  • Lead the development and implementation of optimal capital structures to enhance financial performance and equity value.
  • Construct and refine sophisticated financial models (e.g., LBO, DCF, accretion/dilution) to support investment decisions, scenario planning, and value creation initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements to identify key performance drivers, operational inefficiencies, and strategic opportunities.

Industry & Market Expertise:

  • Serve as a recognized industry and sector expert, staying abreast of emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and competitive shifts.
  • Possess a strong understanding of macroeconomic factors and their potential impact on portfolio companies and investment theses.
  • Conduct rigorous competitive landscape analysis to identify market positioning, growth opportunities, and potential threats.

Strategy & Growth Execution

  • Drive top-line growth initiatives through strategic sales and revenue excellence programs, including pricing optimization, new market entry, and enhanced go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategic frameworks to unlock untapped value and accelerate organic and inorganic growth.
  • Lead and execute critical strategic initiatives, demonstrating a bias for action and a results-oriented approach.

Portfolio Management & Value Creation:

  • Spearhead comprehensive operational improvement programs leveraging methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and advanced process optimization to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance profitability.
  • Exhibit deep workstream expertise, capable of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from inception to successful completion.
  • Actively participate in and influence Board and C-Suite level discussions, providing strategic guidance and ensuring alignment on value creation initiatives.

Pre-Exit & Exit Strategy Planning:

  • Develop and execute robust pre-exit and exit strategy plans, optimizing timing, positioning, and maximizing realization for the firm's investments.
  • Effectively manage relationships with all key stakeholders, including management teams, co-investors, lenders, and advisors, to ensure seamless execution of value creation and exit strategies.

Technology & Digital Transformation:

  • Identify and champion opportunities for technology adoption and digital transformation within portfolio companies to enhance operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and create new revenue streams.
  • Guide portfolio companies in leveraging data analytics and emerging technologies to drive informed decision-making and competitive advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's or Masters degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.

Experience in consulting, investment banking, or private equity.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

Knowledge of specific industry sectors (e.g., technology, healthcare, consumer).
