Role Overview:

The ESG Associate provides advisory and support for ESG initiatives, ensuring that organizations meet sustainability goals, complies with regulations and aligns with best practices in ESG reporting and strategy. This role involves analysing ESG risks, identifying opportunities, and integrating ESG factors into decision making processes.

Reports to:

Vice President - ESG

Key Responsibilities:

Support the development and maintenance of the portfolio companies policies and tools on ESG and impact. You will also support the further development and implementation of policy, strategy, and process together with the portfolio companies management team.

Support the development and execution of new ESG initiatives/ campaigns to help the company become more sustainable; and assist the maintenance of existing programs that have already been implemented

Coordinate with data owners on data collection for quarterly reporting, support on analysis and reporting on performance and explore opportunities to improve data collection process and data quality

Support the development of communications materials to internal or external stakeholders including reports and presentations about the companys ESG performance in accordance with key frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) and FTSE4Good requirements

Conduct a comprehensive and rigorous research into key topics as required, keep abreast of emerging issues, and support the rest of the business to understand and navigate those as required

Provide updates to the Creador team on a regular basis on the overall ESG implementation progress at the portfolio companies

Role Requirements

An adept level of understanding of ESG concepts and reporting standards including Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards

A self-starter who takes initiative and is comfortable in working independently with strong attention to detail

Good time management and problem-solving skills

Good communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills

At ease with Excel and PowerPoint, and are comfortable to perform analytical-related activities of large amounts of data and presentation

Qualifications and Experience

Degree qualification holder in either finance, economics, environmental management, or related discipline
