Air Cooled MV Drives Global Product Manager (80-100%)

In this role you will play a key role within the System Drives Division (Motion Business Area) Global Portfolio Management team. Reporting to the Global Product Management Manager, you will perform various activities in the life cycle of current and future products. You will support the market introduction including the development, launch, maintenance, and pricing of the next generation air-cooled medium voltage drives.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting the air-cooled portfolio transition in ramping up the future products and phasing out the legacy products.
• Supporting sales and marketing teams in the launch and market introduction of the new product.
• Collaboration with internal teams (i.e., Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Research & Development, Supply Chain, and Supply Chain Management) to ensure all product, market and business objectives are met.
• Defining product and market requirements for the next generation products.
• Reviewing of product trainings for internal teams, sales communities, and customers.
• Preparing various analyses by market, product, and competitors.

Addressing commercial aspects of the portfolio transition.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor or master degree in electrical engineering or equivalent area of studies.
• Over 15 years of experience in an industrial environment in an engineering, product marketing, sales, or product management role. Ideally in more than one of the mentioned roles.
• Very good command of English.
• Knowledge of and working experience (minimum 5 years) in air cooled MV drives are a must.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills.
  Self-motivated and purposeful with analytical, logical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, combined with an excellent style of collaboration.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
