Job Title: Waiter
Job Summary:
As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to our guests in our various dining venues. You will work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service while maintaining the highest level of quality and presentation. Your friendly and professional demeanor will create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and contribute to their overall satisfaction with their dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and assist them in selecting menu items, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences
- Provide prompt and attentive service to guests throughout their dining experience
- Take orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, ensuring proper presentation and temperature
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or issues
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables
- Assist with restocking and inventory management of dining supplies and equipment
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic dining environment
- Work collaboratively with other crew members to provide a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the company
Qualifications:
- Fluent in German
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining or hospitality setting
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and etiquette
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications for working on a cruise ship
