Job Description:

  1. Team Management:

    • Supervise and lead the poolside dining staff, providing guidance and support.
    • Schedule and coordinate staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during operational hours.
  2. Customer Service:

    • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive dining experience.
    • Handle customer inquiries and concerns, escalating issues to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.
  3. Operations Support:

    • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the pool restaurant, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
    • Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service.
  4. Training and Development:

    • Train new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
    • Provide ongoing coaching to enhance the skills and performance of the team.
  5. Inventory Control:

    • Monitor and manage inventory levels, communicating with the Restaurant Manager to reorder supplies as needed.
    • Report any equipment issues promptly to the maintenance department.
  6. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of daily sales, staff attendance, and other relevant information.
    • Assist in preparing reports for the Restaurant Manager as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role in the restaurant industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plus.
