Job Description:

  1. Team Leadership:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise pool restaurant staff, fostering a positive and cohesive team environment.
    • Set performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching to enhance staff skills and ensure exceptional service.
  2. Operations Management:

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the pool restaurant, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
    • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure adequate supplies are maintained.
  3. Customer Service:

    • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, striving for excellence in customer service.
    • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, aiming to exceed customer expectations.
  4. Menu Development:

    • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menu offerings, considering guest preferences and seasonal trends.
    • Ensure that food quality and presentation consistently meet the hotel's standards.
  5. Financial Management:

    • Manage the budget for the pool restaurant, tracking expenses and revenue, and implementing cost-effective measures where applicable.
    • Contribute to revenue generation through strategic pricing and upselling initiatives.
  6. Marketing and Promotion:

    • Collaborate with the hotel's marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities to attract and retain customers.
    • Utilize social media and other platforms to enhance the pool restaurant's visibility.
  7. Event Coordination:

    • Coordinate and oversee events hosted at the pool restaurant, working closely with event planners and ensuring seamless execution.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a poolside or outdoor dining setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
