Job Description:

Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular medical check-ups and screenings for crew members onboard the cruise ship

- Diagnose and treat any medical conditions or injuries that may arise

- Provide emergency medical care in case of accidents or emergencies

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all crew members

- Educate crew members on health and safety practices and procedures

- Collaborate with the ship's captain and other medical staff to ensure the overall health and safety of the crew

- Monitor and order medical supplies and equipment as needed

- Conduct health and safety training for crew members as required

- Stay updated on medical advancements and best practices in the maritime industry


Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution

- Valid medical license and certification to practice as a doctor

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a doctor, preferably in a maritime or remote setting

- Strong diagnostic and treatment skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Experience in emergency medicine and trauma care

- Knowledge of maritime health and safety regulations and protocols

- Willingness to work on a rotating schedule and be on call for emergencies

- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally as needed
