Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of all hotel equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work On Board Cruise Ship
- Conduct routine inspections of hotel areas and equipment to identify any issues or potential problems
- Respond to guest requests for maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner
- Work closely with the Repairman to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate repairs and maintenance work
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in maintenance or repair work preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
