Job Description:

(1) Listening to the requests, questions and problems of the guests and making suggestions and / or offering solutions or endearing to find solutions. 

(2) Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and professional in stressful situations when speaking to guests. Be able to control facial expression, tone of voice. To always respond to guests in a polite and positive manner. 

(3) Always present in the F&B outlets and in constant dialogue with the guests. 

4) Proactively demonstrate friendliness and hospitality in all guest interactions. 

(5) Use of all necessary information and resources when extracting guest profiles and learning guests' wishes, habits and favorites. 

(6) Follow up on special days (anniversary, birthday, etc.) to support guest satisfaction and sales. 

(7) Excellent product and service knowledge and taking an active role in the sales of these products and services.

(8) Knowledge and skills on all proposed Tastings and Workshops and actively selling them organizing and following up bookings. Welcoming and hosting guests during these activities. Presenting the events. 

(9) Keep up to date with special promotions and product information. 

(10) Participation in special functions (repeater cocktail, Jubilaren cocktail, Suiten cocktail, pool party

(11) Acquire a working knowledge of the ship's outlets, facilities and various information to answer guest enquiries in these areas as required.

(12) Implementation of work plans according to guest frequency and flexibility in work plan changes according to daily- program. 

(13) Teamwork and co-operation across all departments on board to address guest concerns. 

(14) Active implementation of the philosophy behind the product. 

(15) Contact person for the passengers regarding suggestions, problems, and complaints in the service department. 

(16) Knowledge of the assigned security roll number (from the ships articles) and the assigned duties in case of an emergency.

(17) Strict adherence to all agreed regulations (USPH/HACCP, ISM/ISO, SQM, TUIC Service standards), especially regarding security, environment, and hygiene regulations in his/her/diverse area of responsibility.
