Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective sanitization procedures and protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations onboard the cruise ship

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure all areas of the ship are properly sanitized

- Train and supervise a team of sanitization staff to ensure all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively

- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

- Work closely with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are properly sanitized

- Conduct regular training sessions for crew members on proper sanitization practices and procedures

- Respond to any sanitation-related issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner

- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in sanitization and implement improvements as needed


Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in sanitation or related field preferred

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or hospitality setting

- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and regulations

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending

- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications for working on a cruise ship
