Job Description:
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- The Assistant Carpenter takes in charge and carries out maintenance requests, both on paper or on palmtop, in
order to start the procedure to implement the maintenance work in accordance with
Company rules
- Executes the assigned maintenance tasks in order to provide a fast repair service, using
in the correct and safe way the proper personal protection devices, in accordance with
Company Safety procedure
- Collects the material necessary for the maintenance work, together with the Storekeeper Facility, and verifies that it is adequate and in conformity with the
requested maintenance, in compliance with Company procedure
- Participates in the daily meeting to get instructions and be assigned to specific work,
in accordance with the planning provided by the Furniture and Interior Officer
- Collaborates with Carpenter to support the Storekeeper Facility to prepare the
inventories and verifying that the available material is correct and sufficient to provide
the requested intervention
- Keeps the laboratory clean and tidy in order to preserve all equipment form damage,
breakage and usury and is fully responsible for all the tools at disposal as per
Company rules
- Organizes the work in Guest areas in order to allow the continuity of any activity and
do not hinder any other task, respecting Company Safety procedures
- Executes maintenance works in the laboratory and requests work permission in order
to operate in other area where the intervention is needed, as per Company procedure
- When needed, carries out other Hotel maintenance tasks, in order to guarantee a fast
intervention, in accordance with Furniture and Interior Officers dispositions
- Takes active part in a work environment that support a successful safety culture. Is a
dynamic contributor in following safety policy and procedures
- Supports an effective and sustainable health and safety culture and environment on board, follows strictly HESS regulations and any Health and Safety Protocols in force to prevent the spread of diseases on board and reports to the Head of Department any observed violations of the Company's health procedures.
