Job Description:

The Provisions Master is responsible for the organization and management of all food and beverage related items on board. This includes overseeing the procurement, storage, and distribution of food and beverage items, as well as ensuring that all food and beverage items are of the highest quality. The Provisions Master will also be responsible for managing the budget for food and beverage items, as well as ensuring that all food and beverage items are properly stored and handled in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of food and beverage items

Ensure that all food and beverage items are of the highest quality

Manage the budget for food and beverage items

Ensure that all food and beverage items are properly stored and handled in accordance with health and safety regulations

Maintain accurate records of food and beverage purchases and inventory

Develop and implement procedures for ordering, storing, and distributing food and beverage items

Monitor and inspect food and beverage items for quality and freshness

Ensure compliance with all applicable food and beverage regulations

Supervise and train staff in the proper handling of food and beverage items

Ensure that all food and beverage items are stored and handled in a safe and sanitary manner

Monitor and adjust food and beverage prices as necessary

Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage items

Work with chefs and other kitchen staff to develop menus and recipes

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

5+ years of experience in food and beverage management

Knowledge of food and beverage regulations

Strong organizational and budgeting skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and objects
