Job Description:
- Greet and welcome guests to the bar, taking orders and serving drinks in a timely and efficient manner
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is in working order
- Follow responsible alcohol service policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests
- Provide recommendations and knowledge of our beverage offerings to guests, including wine pairings and specialty cocktails
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting
- Fluency in both B1 and B2 level German is a must
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
