The Senior Account Manager is accountable for managing existing client relationships within their portfolio to create a positive client experience and drive opportunities for increased business.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving new opportunities with existing clients to closure and ensuring effective execution internally
  • Responsible for maintaining effective business relationships with clients, including administration of contracts and agreements
  • Accountable for the internal alignment, preparation and delivery of SOWs, program amendment orders and other required contracts.
  • Accountable of developing and implementing account management plans for clients in their portfolio
  • Accountable for maintaining strategic relationships (alliance management) with clients within their portfolio
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining revenue forecasts
  • Responsible for representing client accounts at the senior leadership team meetings
  • Responsible for continuous improvement and streamlining of the client engagement and client onboarding processes
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining client information within established tools (e.g. Salesforce)

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in relevant discipline and strong track record (5+ years) in cell and gene therapy or related field
  • 5+ years in management position in a dynamic, fast growth life sciences environment
  • Experience in cell therapy or related field, as well as drug development and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Working knowledge of CDMO business operations and models
  • Experience in successfully coordinating across several complex functions to ensure comprehensive and consistent development, sale, delivery and support of products and/or services
  • Experience with the preparation and delivery of reports and/or presentations/communications
  • Experience in the review and closure of contracts and agreements
