Role Overview:

As an Airline Customer Agent, you will serve as the primary point of contact for passengers, providing support with flight reservations, booking changes, cancellations, and travel-related inquiries through multiple communication channels, including phone, email, chat, and social media. You will help customers navigate travel requirements, fare options, baggage policies, and airline services while ensuring a high standard of customer care throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional, friendly, and efficient support via phone, email, chat, and social media platforms
  • Manage flight reservations, ticket changes, rebookings, and cancellations accurately and promptly
  • Provide clear information regarding fare rules, baggage policies, travel documentation, and airline procedures
  • Assist passengers with check-in processes, boarding procedures, and general travel-related questions
  • Identify and recommend suitable travel solutions based on customer needs and preferences
  • Work closely with internal teams and operational departments to resolve customer concerns effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, requests, and case resolutions within company systems
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by handling inquiries with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Stay informed about airline policies, schedule updates, special offers, and industry trends through ongoing training

Requirements:

  • Language Skills: Fluent in German (C1/C2 level) and English (B2 level)
  • Eligibility: EU citizenship or valid Maltese residency card
  • Skills: Strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities
  • Mindset: Professional, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in the Travel field
