Content Moderator (Italian) – Social Media Platform

Initial preparatory training will be provided.

Join a global digital platform environment as part of a content moderation team responsible for ensuring user safety and platform compliance.

You will review user-generated content in Italian, applying platform policies to ensure that content meets community guidelines and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and moderate user-generated content in Italian
• Apply platform policies to approve, restrict, or remove content
• Identify and escalate sensitive or non-compliant material
• Ensure consistent enforcement of community guidelines
• Maintain accuracy and quality standards in decision-making
• Document moderation actions in internal systems
• Work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with internal trust & safety teams

Requirements

• Fluent Italian (C1/C2 level required)
• Strong English communication skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• High emotional resilience and ability to handle sensitive content
• Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Previous experience in content moderation is a plus but not mandatory

Compensation

• Base salary: €1,000/month (paid over 14 months)
• Meal allowance: €7.63/day net (meal card) approx. €167–€175/month depending on working days
• Night shift, Sunday, and public holiday allowances (additional pay according to schedule)
