Remote Cape Verdean Creole & English Interpreter (m/f/x)

We are looking for fluent Cape Verdean Creole and English speakers to provide remote interpretation services across a range of professional contexts, including medical, legal, insurance, and government-related calls. The role is fully remote and involves facilitating accurate and confidential communication between individuals with limited English proficiency and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide consecutive interpretation via phone or video between Cape Verdean Creole and English.

• Ensure accurate, clear, and professional communication in various settings.

• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with service quality standards.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both Cape Verdean Creole and English (spoken and written).

• Excellent listening, memory, and communication skills.

• Stable internet connection with at least 12 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload (wired connection required).

• Availability to work 8 hours per day (Monday to Sunday shifts, scheduled in advance).

• Residency in Portugal with valid documentation (either a EU passport or a valid residence permit in Portugal)

Training & Equipment:

• Remote training provided (12 working days, compensated).

• All necessary equipment delivered, including PC, monitor, keyboard, headset, webcam, and accessories.
