Overview
We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy German-Speaking Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our team in Porto. This is an excellent opportunity for junior professionals who are passionate about technology and customer service and are looking to start or grow their career in IT support.
As a Helpdesk Support Specialist, you will provide first-line technical assistance to users, helping them resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues while ensuring an excellent support experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems in German.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application-related issues.
- Assist users with account access, password resets, and system configurations.
- Log, track, and update incidents and service requests in the ticketing platform.
- Escalate complex technical issues to second-line or specialized support teams when necessary.
- Follow established procedures, service level agreements (SLAs), and IT support guidelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge base updates.
Requirements
- Native or fluent level of German (C2).
- Good command of English (B2 level or higher).
- Strong interest in information technology and technical support.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and general IT concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in customer service, technical support, or IT is an advantage but not required.
- Availability to work on-site in Porto.
