Role Overview

As a Sales Representative – Congress & Events, you will play a key role in the company’s growth by organizing and representing the brand at national and international congresses and trade fairs. You will act as a central contact point for event-related sales activities, customer interactions, and internal coordination with marketing and product management.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of sales, event organization, and hands-on customer engagement, and who is comfortable taking responsibility in a dynamic environment.

Location & Working Model

  • Location: Gütersloh, Germany (33334)

  • Working model: Primarily on-site, with home-office days by arrangement (not fully remote)

  • Travel: Approximately 8–12 national and international events per year

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute national and international congresses and trade fairs

  • Manage the company’s exhibition booth, including on-site consulting and customer interaction

  • Represent the company and its products professionally at events

  • Collaborate on sales-related projects and digital marketing initiatives

  • Work closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product management

  • Support post-event follow-up activities and evaluate event success

Ideal Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Fluent German (C2 level) as the working language

  • Proven experience in sales or a comparable commercial role

  • Willingness to travel regularly for events (8–12 per year)

  • Strong sense of responsibility and reliability

  • Hands-on, proactive, and well-organized

  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership

Experience & Education

  • Experience: 2–3 years in a relevant sales or commercial role

  • Education: University degree not required

Compensation & Contract

  • Salary: €38,000 – €45,000 gross per year

  • Contract: Permanent (unlimited)

  • Working hours: 38.5 hours per week (part-time options of 30 or 32 hours possible)

  • Vacation: 30 days per year

  • Probation period: 6 months
