Job Title: German-Speaking Content Moderator (Relocation to Barcelona, Spain)
Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid: office + remote within 100 km)
Working Hours: Full-time (38.5 hours/week), fixed shifts with 2 consecutive days off
Contract Type: Permanent, with full training provided
Languages Required: Native-level German (C2) + Advanced English
Job Description:

As part of our content moderation team, you'll be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and evaluating user-generated content. Your role will directly impact the platforms safety and user experience.
Responsibilities:

Review user-submitted content (text, images, videos) for guideline compliance

Remove or escalate inappropriate content based on internal policies

Maintain high quality and accuracy in moderation decisions

Stay informed about current cultural, political, and social trends

Collaborate with team members to achieve performance targets
Requirements:

C2 level in German (native fluency)

Advanced English skills (both written and verbal)

Basic to intermediate PC proficiency (Office 365, CRM tools)

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

High awareness of online trends, current events, and digital communities

Interest in social media platforms is essential

Prior experience in content moderation or customer service is a plus

Must have completed compulsory education (e.g. Realschulabschluss or Abitur) legal requirement for employment in Spain

Must live or be willing to relocate within 100 km of the office in Barcelona
