Job Summary:
As a Structuring Officer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex financial solutions tailored to meet the strategic, regulatory, and financial needs of clients. This role involves close collaboration with front-office teams, risk, legal, and compliance to structure tailor-made transactions, primarily in structured finance, securitization, or capital markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze client requirements and market opportunities to design innovative financial structures.
Develop financial models and perform scenario analysis to assess transaction performance.
Work with internal stakeholders (sales, trading, legal, risk, compliance, and operations) to structure and execute deals.
Draft and review term sheets and transaction documentation.
Monitor the regulatory and legal environment to ensure compliance in structuring practices.
Present structured solutions to clients and support relationship managers during deal negotiations.
Participate in due diligence processes and risk assessments.
Contribute to product innovation and business development initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Solid knowledge of structured finance, derivatives, or capital markets.
Experience in financial modeling, credit analysis, and transaction execution.
Familiarity with legal documentation and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, IFRS, EMIR).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Excel, VBA, or financial modeling tools; knowledge of Bloomberg or similar platforms is a plus.
Fluent in French and English B2
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience (2- 5 years) in a similar structuring or investment banking role.
Exposure to asset-backed securities, project finance, or corporate structured lending.
Understanding of legal structuring and tax implications in cross-border transactions.
