About the Role

We are looking for a Icelandic-speaking Customer Service Representative to join a global customer experience team.

In this role, you will support customers for well-known international brands in sectors such as technology, travel, e-commerce, gaming, or streaming services.

You will handle inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide high-quality assistance while delivering an excellent customer experience in Icelandic and English.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support to customers via phone, email, and chat in Icelandic and English

Understand customer needs and offer accurate information and solutions

Troubleshoot technical or account-related issues using internal tools

Record all customer interactions in the CRM system

Escalate complex cases to specialized teams when necessary

Stay updated on product knowledge, processes, and policies

Maintain a professional and empathetic approach in every interaction

Requirements

Fluent Icelandic (C1+) and good English (B2+)

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to handle pressure calmly

Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple systems

Previous customer service experience is an advantage but not mandatory

EU citizenship or valid right to work in the country
