Shape the Future of AI-Driven Products

On behalf of our client company, a high-growth B2B SaaS innovator, we are seeking a hands-on VP of Product to lead and scale the product organization during its next phase of growth.

This is a builder-leader role — not a purely strategic oversight position. The ideal profile combines deep product craftsmanship, AI-first thinking, and strong organizational leadership within developer-focused environments.

You will play a critical role in embedding AI into the product strategy while building scalable product systems and teams.

Your Impact

Product Leadership & Strategy

  • Own end-to-end product vision for developer tools and technical products
  • Drive AI-first product strategy across the portfolio

  • Partner with executive leadership to scale product excellence

  • Embed customer-centric thinking into roadmap decisions

Team Leadership & Structure

  • Lead 4 Product Managers (growing to 5) and 2–3 Designers

  • Establish strong product operating rhythms and decision frameworks

  • Build scalable team structures and performance standards

  • Coach and develop senior product talent

Hands-On Product Ownership

  • Engage directly with customers and validate solutions

  • Deeply understand the product before delegating ownership

  • Partner closely with engineering on scalability and feasibility

  • Balance strategic leadership with tactical product involvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
  • Improve product decision velocity as the company scales

  • Ensure strong developer experience across the platform

Ideal Profile

  • Strong technical foundation (background in software engineering)

  • Proven experience building developer tools or developer-focused products
  • Prior leadership of 6–10 direct reports

  • Experience in high-growth B2B SaaS environments (~$100M+ ARR preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to scale teams and systems hands-on

  • AI-first product mindset

  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management

  • Comfortable working across US time zones
