About the Opportunity

Our client is building AI-native accounting software that automates financial workflows for entrepreneurs. Backed by $20M from OpenAI Startup Fund, General Catalyst, and Google Ventures, the team is entering a high-growth phase ahead of Series A.

This is a high-ownership product engineering role focused on delivering polished, end-to-end user experiences where AI performs meaningful work behind the scenes.

You will work closely with the CEO, AI, Design, and Operations teams to ship fast and raise the product quality bar.

What Youll Do

  • Build and ship intuitive, high-performance full-stack product features

  • Develop scalable UI components and robust backend logic

  • Partner cross-functionally to scope and deliver user-facing improvements

  • Make architectural decisions balancing speed, scalability, and quality

  • Continuously evaluate new technologies to improve system performance

  • Help define best-in-class product engineering practices

Tech Environment

  • TypeScript, React, Node.js

  • AWS and Terraform

  • Postgres

  • OpenAI and Azure AI

  • GitHub, Linear, Slack, Notion, Figma

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years building and shipping full-stack production web applications

  • Strong React and TypeScript expertise

  • Solid backend experience (Node.js preferred)

  • Hands-on AWS or GCP infrastructure knowledge

  • Proven end-to-end product ownership

  • Strong written and verbal communication

Nice to Have

  • Early-stage startup or founder experience

  • Experience with LLM-powered product features

  • Python or Ruby familiarity

  • FinTech or accounting domain exposure

  • Experience working directly with founders or exec teams
