Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and Repairs: Inspecting facilities and equipment for deficiencies, scheduling and overseeing maintenance and repair services.
  2. Procurement: Managing procurement of supplies, equipment, and services, including negotiating contracts and managing budgets.
  3. Facility Management: Overseeing space planning, utilization, and ensuring optimal functioning of all systems.
  4. Staff and Contractor Management: Supervising facility staff and external contractors, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed logs of complaints, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  6. Emergency Response: Responding appropriately to emergencies and urgent issues as they arise.
  7. Report Generation: Preparing weekly and monthly reports on facility activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
  2. Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to the facility.
  3. Communication: Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
  4. Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  5. Leadership: Ability to supervise and motivate staff, as well as manage contractors.
  6. Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets and tracking expenses.
