About CTL,E.P.
Cabos de Timor-Leste (CTL), E.P. is the state-owned enterprise of Timor-Leste entrusted with the critical mandate of managing and operating the nation's international submarine cable infrastructure and domestic terrestrial backbone network. CTL's primary function is to provide reliable wholesale internet bandwidth to internet service providers (ISPs) and mobile network operators within the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger;
- Process payroll and manage expenses;
- Assist in preparing budgets, financial reports, and cash flow forecasts;
- Support the annual audit process and ensure tax compliance
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures;
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations;
- Other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field;
- Professional qualification (e.g. CPA) or progress toward one preferred;
- High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail;
- Knowledge of Timorese tax laws and financial regulations;
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential information;
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
Technology skills
- Advanced proficiency in office applications including spreadsheet, writer, and presenter;
