Our fleet management capability supports customers across mining, energy, transportation, civil, agriculture and their associated industries.

Due to our recent rapid growth, a new position has been created for a Central Australia Manager to oversee our operations in Adelaide, Alice Springs, and Darwin.

Based in either Adelaide or Darwin, we require someone with a significant background in the Tyre Industry.

You will likely have begun your career on the tools as a Tyre Fitter or Mechanic, and moved into customer service, operations and business development functions as your career progressed.

We service a sector with significant knowledge across our products, prices, and competitors.

We are looking for an individual that can exceed the high bar set by delivering fact and data-based advice, backed up by our high-quality products and workmanship.

We strive to exceed our customers' expectations at every interaction and look for people who naturally deliver, demonstrated via high standards in communication, and the ability to build rapport with a diverse customer demographic.

Your fact-based advice and natural high service standards will allow you to capitalise on existing relationships, leverage our existing contacts and win new business.

Requirements:

  • Research, identify and acquire new business.
  • Develop existing relationships by leveraging current services to include the purchase of off-road tyres and services.
  • Ensure company processes are followed.
  • Where and when required direct tyre fitters.
  • Strengthen the business brand and image across the existing buyer base and relevant sectors.
  • Build strong internal relationships with our Service Advisors, Technicians, Fitters and Leadership Team.
  • Leveraging internal market knowledge whilst capitalising on our quality of work and best in class customer service.
  • Operations and staff management of our Adelaide, Darwin, and Alice Springs locations.
  • Travel across the region to acquire new business, build relationships and upskill your staff.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Previous sales, business development and relationship management experience in the tyre sector (or related industry).
  • Earthmover, crane, truck, heavy equipment, and general tyre product knowledge will be essential.
  • Exposure to the mining, agricultural and construction sectors.
  • Sound business administration skills across Office 365, with exposure to ERP platforms.
  • Professional communications skills with the ability to relate and build rapport with a large, diverse group of stakeholders.
  • A proven background of sales success, where you have achieved and exceeded sales targets via new business development.
  • The ability to travel across South Australia, the Northern Territory overnight where and when required.
  • You are likely to be away from home for 8-10 nights per month.
  • Manual Drivers License.
