We're Hiring: Head Chef
We're on the hunt for a passionate, hands-on Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a high-volume pub in Ipswich. Known for its quality pub classics, weekly specials, and vibrant atmosphere, we need a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage a motivated team.
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a busy pub or similar venue
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage stock, control costs, and maintain kitchen standards
- Passion for quality food, consistency, and presentation
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations
- Develop and execute seasonal menus and specials
- Lead, train, and inspire a small team of chefs and kitchen hands
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Maintain cost control, ordering, and stock management
