Customer Service Officer
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Customer Service Officer to support the daily operations of their preschool centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, prospective customers, and visitors, providing professional and timely assistance.
- Handle enquiries related to enrolment, school operations, and centre services.
- Support enrolment processes, maintain registration records, and manage the waiting list.
- Process and monitor school fee collection accurately.
- Answer incoming calls professionally, direct enquiries, and take messages when required.
- Welcome visitors and ensure security procedures are followed at all times.
- Prepare administrative reports and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ensure all centre files, reports, and databases are updated and organized.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain the reception area, office, and common areas in a clean and professional manner.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Process petty cash claims and support general administrative duties.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, children, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Support the centre in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children and visitors.
- Attend training sessions and professional development programmes as required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Customer Service, or a related field.
- Prior experience in customer service, front desk, reception, or administrative support, preferably in the education or childcare sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to handle enquiries professionally.
- Good organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general administrative systems.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and responsible.
- Able to handle challenging customer situations calmly and professionally.
