Product Manager

 Job Description:

As the Product Manager (Consumer Products — Mass Market), you will be responsible for mass market product innovation and development, develop business cases and build the roadmap for commercialisation to ensure all product development milestones are met. You will define and drive the product vision, short and long term strategies and business plan.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the deep product expertise needed to lead the company's mass market collectibles and make strategic product decisions
  • Analyse market and competitive conditions, laying out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands
  • Define the mass market collectible roadmap
  • Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities through research, strategic planning and implementation, while developing product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Translate the product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Work closely with development teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Work closely with sales and other internal stakeholders to create strong product sales strategies
  • Create long- and short-term product sales forecasts and analysis for management
  • Develop product lines and appraise new ideas for market viability
  • Scope and prioritise activities based on business and customer impact
  • Evaluate market competition and position the product line so that it appeals to consumers
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with various internal departments in executing go-to-market strategies
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Assume leadership and ownership of presentations, proposals and other documents including but not limited to the preparation of annual reports and meeting slides

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree preferably in Business and Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 5 years' Product Management experience with consumer products, preferably collectible items
  • Data-driven, strong data analytical capability preferred
  • Mass market consumer goods experience preferred
  • Good know-how in the 4Ps and Go-To-Market Planning
  • Proven product management background with strong marketing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong presentation skills
  • Proficient in using MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); JIRA and Confluence are a plus
  • Good understanding of urban culture and collector mindset
