Job Description

• Responsible for Patients Diagnosis and Treatment Plans
• Providing routine health screening and check-ups
• Educating patients about their health conditions
• Explain medical procedures and test results
• Handle minor emergencies, injuries, and urgent medical issues
• Maintain accurate medical records, including medical history, diagnoses, treatments and prescriptions
• Offer emotional support and compassionate care
• Listen to patients concerns, address questions, and establish trustful relationships
• Refer patients to specialists when needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
  
  

Requirements

• A degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), or a medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Successful completion of minimally one-year housemanship program followed by a residency program, gaining practical experience in various medical specialties, including general medicine, surgery, obstetrics and paediatrics.
• Obtaining full registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Clear the licensing examinations conducted by the Singapore Medical Council, which assess the candidates medical knowledge and competence.
• Good professional standing, adhering to ethical standards and guidelines set by the medical regulatory authorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, understand their concerns, and provide appropriate medical advice and care.
• Familiarize with the legal obligations and regulations governing medical practice in Singapore, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
