 Job Description:

Our client is a leading 3PL logistics company headquartered in Singapore, dedicated to delivering innovative supply chain solutions globally. Due to expansion for further growth and success, we are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team.

Job Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around financial leadership and direction to ensure the long-term financial sustainability and growth of the company. Additionally, knowledge of reverse takeover procedures will be essential for this role. The CFO will oversee all financial functions, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting, while also playing a key role in developing and implementing business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement the financial strategy of the company, aligning it with the overall business objectives. Familiarity with reverse takeover strategies is required.
  2. Prepare and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  3. Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  4. Identify and manage financial risks, including currency exchange, interest rates, and market volatility, to protect the company's financial assets.
  5. Ensure efficient cash flow management and working capital optimization.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards, including tax laws and reporting requirements. Knowledge of reverse takeover regulations is crucial.
  7. Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  8. Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, conducting due diligence and financial assessments, including those related to reverse takeovers.
  9. Implement cost control measures and efficiency improvements to maximize profitability.
  10. Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders, providing transparency and communication on financial performance.
  11. Make informed recommendations on capital allocation, including investment decisions and capital raising strategies, with an understanding of reverse takeover implications.
  12. Promote sustainability initiatives and incorporate environmentally responsible practices into financial decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's or CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance role within the logistics or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore's financial regulations and tax laws, including knowledge of reverse takeover procedures.
  • Exceptional financial modeling and analysis skills.
  • Experience in managing and developing finance and accounting teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving financial performance.
