Position Overview:

We are looking for a Waste & Farm Assistant to manage waste segregation, Bokashi composting, and assist with planting on our farm. This role ensures that waste is properly sorted and composted while supporting sustainable farming efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and organize waste for proper disposal and recycling.
• Manage the Bokashi composting system (collect food waste, maintain bins, and process compost).
• Keep composting areas clean and organized.
• Transport and use composted materials to improve soil quality on the farm.
• Assist with planting, watering, and maintaining crops at the farm.
• Follow sustainability practices and help improve waste management processes.
• Maintain accurate records of waste management processes and farm activities

Qualifications:

• No formal education required, but experience in waste management, composting, or farming is a plus.
• Physically fit and willing to do hands-on work.
• Basic knowledge of composting and planting (or willingness to learn).
• Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
