Chef (Agency) Care Homes Flexible Shifts Available

Location: Various Locations Across South Yorkshire

Pay: £14.00£18.00 per hour (dependent on shift and location)

Spire Staffing is seeking experienced and reliable Chefs to join our dedicated agency team, providing high-quality meal preparation and kitchen support in care home settings across the region. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook nutritious, balanced meals in line with dietary requirements and food safety standards.

Work closely with care home staff to ensure timely meal service for residents.

Manage stock, maintain cleanliness, and comply with HACCP and food hygiene regulations.

Follow specific dietary plans, including texture-modified diets and allergen controls.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Chef in a care home or healthcare setting.

Knowledge of special dietary requirements (e.g., dysphagia, diabetes).

Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above).

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).

Flexibility to travel or work across different care homes (own transport is desirable but not essential).
