Hourly Rate: £12.49

Hours: 30 hours per week (3 days)

Shifts: Includes weekend working on a rolling rota

Are you a passionate and experienced chef who enjoys making a difference in peoples lives? Cura Workforce Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded care home in North Anston for a dedicated Chef to join their catering team.

About the Role:

As the Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, home-cooked meals tailored to residents dietary needs and preferences. Youll ensure meals are delivered on time, safely, and in accordance with food hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare balanced meals in line with dietary requirements

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen

Ensure portion control and minimise food waste

Work collaboratively with care staff to support residents wellbeing

Follow all health and safety and food hygiene regulations

What Were Looking For:

Previous experience as a chef or cook, ideally in a care or healthcare setting

Food Hygiene Level 2 (minimum)

Strong understanding of dietary needs, including allergens and modified textures

A caring and respectful attitude towards older people

Ability to work weekends on a rolling rota basis
