Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 3 (Senior Accountant, Junior Accountant, Payroll Specialist) and ensure the timely delivery of full-cycle accounting services.
  • Supervise and review accounting work; provide mentorship and day-to-day support to the team.
  • Manage your own portfolio and take ownership of team deliverables, including financial statements and tax declarations.
  • Coordinate with tax authorities (e.g., ANAF) during audits or formal inquiries.
  • Contribute to firm-wide process improvements, including the transition to a 4-Day Workweek.
  • Support digitisation efforts and help implement new tools and technologies.
  • Optionally, contribute knowledge content to educational platforms and internal tools

This role is for you if:

  • You are a CECCAR or ACCA Member/Student with 5+ years of experience in a structured accounting firm.
  • You lead from the front managing your own client accounts while coaching junior staff.
  • Youre proactive, organised, and accountable.
  • You communicate fluently in English and Romanian, both with clients and internally.
  • You are tech-savvy and understand the transition from legacy desktop systems to modern web-based tools (Xero, Odoo, etc.).
